Our Philosophy

Ann Crane's Kindergarten provides a warm, friendly atmosphere in which a child can learn and grow.  Our goal is to have each child develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially at his/her own rate in a safe and nurturing setting.  We offer:

Experienced, loving and skillful teachers who have met state qualifications. A "tried-and-true" curriculum, tailored to each child's needs. A home-like atmosphere conducive to an easy transition from home to school. Small classes with an excellent student to teacher ratio, resulting in individual attention for each child. An opportunity for each child to meet and know a cross section of children. An attractive and well equipped outdoor playground, which offers opportunities for physical development. A professional staff to help the children establish acceptable behavior patterns. A rich environment that fosters in each child an interest in and enjoyment of music, dramatic play, books, expressive language, number and reading readiness. An opportunity for parents to discuss the progress of their child or any concerns via telephone conferences and classroom visits.

Ann Crane's Kindergarten has been educating students for 70 years.  Started by Ann (Scribner) Crane in 1937, the school is now run by her daughter Mary Ann Scott upholding the same philosophies and dedication that made this school so successful.
